Hawaiian Concert Guide
The Hawaiian Concert Guide Internet Radio Show is a podcast that is dedicated to the preservation of Hawaiian Music and Hawaiian Culture primarily from the islands of Hawaii (Hawai'i). This includes Hawaiian musical instruments such as the 'Ukulele, Ki Ho'alu (Slack Key) Guitar, Kika Kila (Hawaiian Lap Steel Guitar), the Upright Bass and Pahu (Drum) as well as the singing styles of Leo Ki'eki'e (falsetto), the Ha'i (glotto stop) and Oli (ancient A Cappella chanting).
Additionally, we're focused on the concerts as they occur on and off the Hawaii islands and around the world. The goals of the show and web sites is to bring together those fans of Hawaiian music and the musicians they love. The first 30 minutes of each show covers upcoming Hawaiian events wherever they may soon be occurring, around the world. The balance of each two hour show is spent sharing the new and exciting Hawaiian music coming available.
