Don't know about Dots recipes. I started out making pork and long rice and my girlfriend Marcia said throw in some opae which I had on hand. It tasted good and I been making it this way ever since! Sorry for the delay response. I just came back to this after all this time in the mainland. I was actually in Texas at the time I submitted this. Thanks!

Aloha, this is the creator of this recipe since i have made this recipe i found an easier way to make it. instead of using the ramen packets i found the seasoning 'Steak Dust' to be the same thing but now you don't have to use the packets and can make alot more gravy at a time. i also found adding 1 tbs of tomato sauce and worcestershire sauce and a teaspoon of chili powder to make it even better! try it, its worth it!
