Executive Director's Report for July/August 1, 2021

•  Northern California Chapter Awards Ceremony !!! Congratulation to Anjani Varma and the Chapter for all your hard work.  It was wonderful to see all of the students and their families plus meet the Adult Mentors. 
•  Safe Schools Conference in Anaheim at the Delta Hotels by Marriott was held July 14-16, 2021.   NPIEN is a conference organizer. Dr. and Marie Thompson worked at the conference in the vendor area and Registration, plus provided ukulele entertainment.  300 attended this socially distanced event.  Donations were made to our Scholarship Fund. 
•  We Can Do This.  https://wecandothis.hhs.gov/ We are sponsoring the Health and Human Services Campaign to inform parents about the options related to the vaccine for students ages 12-17 in the Pacific Islander community.
•  Dr. Thompson spoke to high school and college students at the Tafesilfai Festival at the 2nd Samoan Congregational Church in Long Beach, CA
